When you complete your purchase of our download products, you will be able to download the files from your account area as well as from the confirmation email we will send to you.
Please note that you must download the files to your device before you can play them.
Some people have tried to open the audio and video files with a media player, and it doesn't work. If that happens to you, then first download the file to your hard drive and then open your media player.
After you have downloaded a file, you can open it and listen to it (mp3 audio) or view it (video) or read it (PDF document).
Apple doesn’t allow downloads to its iPad or iPhone except from the iTunes store.
You can download our files to a computer and then transfer them to into iTunes on your device.
There are some apps that make this easy. The most popular seems to be Goodreader.
You can also purchase many of our products from the iTunes store. For information please visit our Apple Products category.
Internet Download Manager
A few years ago we found a great option, a program called Internet Download Manager (IDM). It will download just about anything:
- It will download multiple files simultaneously
- Or you can que them up and it will download them one after the other.
- You can also resume a download if it is interrupted, rather than having to start over.
It was easy to install, simple to use, and we haven't had any problems with it. They have been sending us free updates every few months ever since we bought it.
You can download a copy and use it for 30 days for free, then pay $25 (as of this writing) if you want to keep it. You can download the free trial at internetdownloadmanager.com (this is not an affiliate link)
We have combined the files in our Home Study Courses into compressed "ZIP files" with the complete home study course.
If you prefer to download the files individually, you can use the other links. If your computer times out and stops before the download is complete, then go ahead and download the individual files.
Just do a quick internet search if you need instructions on how to unzip (unpack) them on your device.
Most of our videos now are mp4. Sometimes we still use Real Media (rm) and Windows Video Media (.wmv) for video files.
Our audio files are normal mp3.
Books, manuals, and other documents are usually in the Portable Document Format: .pdf.
We are knowledgeable in the human brain and the human mind, not the Internet, so please forgive us for any small glitches. We depend on several excellent suppliers to help us, and sometimes it takes a while to get everything done.
mp3 audio recordings
You should be able to play mp3 audio recordings on any media player on your computer.
If you have a CD recorder, you can also burn them to CD as Data files, and play them on most modern CD and DVD players that will recognize mp3 files.
You can also transfer them to your mp3 player, usually via a USB or Firewire connection.
Media players for audio and video
You can use the current version of the Real Audio player to listen to the Real Audio (.rm) programs. You can get it from www.real.com
You can also play the Real Media audio and video - and just about every other format on the Internet - with the VLC Media Player. You can download it for free from the www.videolan.org web site.
Free Download sample
Before ordering downloads, please click the button below to download a free audio recording of Ed Bernd Jr. titled The Value of ESP.
Please click on the link and make sure that you can download this file to your device and then play it with your media player before you purchase any downloads.
This download is free, you won't be charged anything, and there is no obligation.
eBooks and manuals
The documents are usually in Portable Document Format (PDF).
You can open them with the free PDF reader from the Adobe.com website.
Another excellent option is the free Sumatra PDF reader. It is a free PDF, eBook (ePub, Mobi), XPS, DjVu, CHM, Comic Book (CBZ and CBR) reader for Windows.
Sumatra PDF is powerful, small, portable and starts up very fast. Simplicity of the user interface has a high priority.
You can download it directly from the SamatraPDFreader.org website for free.
