Jose Silva reveals details of his 22 years of groundbreaking scientific research into the mind and human potential
These audio recordings are of the Advanced Course in Mind Control that Jose Silva presented exclusively to Silva Mind Control graduates back in the 1970’s. We are offering them to certified Silva ESP Instructors and to Silva ESP Graduates who have demonstrated their commitment to training their family members by enrolling in our 3 main Courses.
The video above is from an introductory presentation he made in 1973. it will help you to imagine what it was like to attend a Course with him during that exciting time when people were just beginning to learn what their mind is capable of doing.
His typical routine:
He would fly into the city on Wednesday and meet with the local Instructor and any Silva graduates that the Instructor wanted him to meet with. The Instructors would also schedule interviews for him with local newspapers, radio and television stations.
Then on Wednesday night he would conduct an Introductory Workshop that was open to all Silva Graduates at no charge. Graduates could also bring their friends, also at no charge.
Then he would continue on Thursday night and Friday night, and all day Saturday and Sunday.
A great investment
The cost for the Advanced Course was $200. It would probably be 10 times that much today, when you adjust for inflation.
He taught on that schedule, and for that price, until 1978. At that time, they divided the material into 2 seminars, which they would present on one weekend each. They charged $150 for each – the Graduate Seminar, and the Ultra Seminar (not to be confused with the UltraMind ESP System, which came 20 years later).
That was a much easier schedule. He could stay in Laredo until Friday and then fly into town for the free Friday night opening session.
Jose Silva continued teaching his 2-day Ultra Seminar for the rest of his life.
In the mid-1980’s he also began teaching a special 2-week course – 10 full days of instruction and practice – that he called his Ultimate Seminar.
The Ultimate Seminar included the basic Mind Control course and all of the techniques from the Graduate and Ultra Seminars.
He taught the Ultimate Seminar twice a year in English, and once a year in Spanish. The price was $2,400 for new students, $1,900 for Silva Mind Control graduates. This picture is from one of those early Ultimate Seminars, held at the Holiday Inn in Laredo, on San Bernardo Avenue, across the street from the Laredo Civic Center.
How these recordings were made
These audio recordings of the Advanced Course in Mind Control were made by Marie Buckingham when she was training to become an Instructor in 1972. Mr. Silva would allow Instructors and Instructor Trainees to record the seminars as long as they didn’t get in the way and distract from the teaching, so it wasn’t always possible to get the recorder into the ideal position.
The Advanced Course includes a lot of information and insights that weren’t presented in later years. The information in these recordings is a treasure, and provides unique insight into his research and his thinking that is not available anywhere else.
